How Bright Should the LEDs Be

RED

The red LED should be at maximum brightness as soon as the LineSpi is connected. It should also not change brightness when a scan tool is connected to the LineSpi.

 

GREEN

The red LED should be at maximum brightness as soon as the LineSpi is connected. It should also not change brightness when a scan tool is connected to the LineSpi.

 

 

YELLOW

The brightness of the yellow LEDs is determined by a combination of things:

•The duration and frequency of the applied signal.
•If the LED is activated by a high signal or a low signal.
•How long the signal is high to low.

 

To getter a better understanding of this relationship monitor the signal with your lab scope while watching the LED.
