The Supplied Database

The AES Setup Shooter is supplied with an automotive setup database that was created with the Fluke 192B. Most of the setups are generic and can be used on most automotive electronic fuel systems.

Depending on the model and version of your scope the setups might not be compatible. Even if they are not compatible examine the database as an example of what is possible when you do create a database for your scope. Do note that the main instrument settings for each setup are included in the main memo field of each record. Therefore, if your scope is not compatible you may still use the notes of the database as a reference for setup of your scope.

Will the database work with your scope?

There are many different models of Scopemeters and for each model there are different versions. Since, each model and/or version might offer different features and/or require different setup information it is possible that the supplied database will not work with your particular instrument.

Some examples are:

Setup from a Fluke 192 are not recommended for a Fluke 192B.

Setups from a Fluke 196B are not recommended for a Fluke 196C.
