Creating and Saving a Reference Waveform

Top  Previous  Next

Many of the setups included with the AES Setup Shooter include Reference waveforms. These Reference waveforms are intended to be a setup reference not a diagnostic template. If your Scopemeter supports Reference waveforms then you can make your own to be used as a diagnostic reference.

1.Adjust instrument to get waveform display as desired.
2.Create a new Reference waveform - click here for procedure
3.Save setup to setup memory - click here for procedure

At this point you may wish to save the new setup and reference back to the AES Setup Shooter or replace the original. Either way you will have a known reference that can be used for diagnostic on a particular system.
