Creating and Saving a Reference Waveform |
Top Previous Next |
Many of the setups included with the AES Setup Shooter include Reference waveforms. These Reference waveforms are intended to be a setup reference not a diagnostic template. If your Scopemeter supports Reference waveforms then you can make your own to be used as a diagnostic reference.
At this point you may wish to save the new setup and reference back to the AES Setup Shooter or replace the original. Either way you will have a known reference that can be used for diagnostic on a particular system.
Create a new Reference Waveform
First, make all necessary adjustments to display the desired waveform.
1. Press SCOPE
2. Press F4 / WAVEFORM OPTIONS...
3. Press F4 two more times to advance to WAVEFORM:
4. Press DOWN ARROW key to highlight REFERENCE
5. Press F4 to open the WAVEFORM REFERENCE menu
6. Press DOWN ARROW to highlight NEW...
7. Press F4 to select NEW... and the NEW REFERENCE menu opens
8. Use the UP and DOWN ARROW keys to select a pixel width. The pixel width determines the thickness of the waveform.
9. Press F4 to select.
You are now ready to use your Reference waveform and to save it to setup memory. |
